Seminar for Individuals and Agencies Working with Pregnant and New Moms

“Perinatal Mood Disorders and Poverty: Assessment and Resources for Treatment”

As many as 50% of perinatal women living in poverty will experience a mood
disorder, such as Postpartum Depression. Fortunately there are many resources
available to help these women get treatment. This seminar will focus on free
assessments and identifying low or no-cost referral resources for new moms
and their families. The seminar will be facilitated by the founder of the
Postpartum Resource center of Kansas, Meeka Centimano, LMSW, and Jen Stoll,
Director of Development. Three CEU’s will be provided by the Kansas
Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board.
